Visting a Brewery During COVID-19
We are still very much in the middle of a pandemic, and your tasting room experience is likely to be very different from the days of yore. Per North Carolina mandate, masks are required anytime you are not actively eating or drinking, even while seated at your table.
Effective Friday, December 11, 2020, NC is under a state-mandated, modified stay at home order between the hours of 10pm and 5am. During this order:
- Alcohol sales for on-site consumption must end by 9pm.
- Businesses must close at or before 10pm
Many breweries are currently not accepting cash, with some only allowing cards or requesting payment through apps like Arryved, available for both Apple and Android phones. Plan accordingly!
Please be patient with and kind to brewery staff and each other, and make sure you're following rules that have been put in place to ensure staff and customer safety!
Remember the three Ws:
- Wear a mask
- Wait 6 feet apart from anyone not in your party
- Wash your hands
Thank you so much for supporting Western North Carolina's small and independent breweries during these difficult times! Feel free to send all updates, questions, and virtual hugs and hi-fives to firstname.lastname@example.org.
